If you have a lost, stolen or broken phone you will want to replace it with a new phone. First, if the phone is lost or stolen you may want to deactivate the old phone. If you have the ESN of the old phone you can send it to us along with your Page Plus number and we can put a new phone on the account to replace the old one. If you do not have the old phone’s ESN then you can send us two phone numbers that were recently called from the phone (within the past 7 days) and we can have Page Plus Customer Service put a new ESN on the account. If you have a phone ready to go we can put that phone on the account immediately or if you have to find a new phone we can put a “place holder” ESN on the account to hold it and deactivate the old phone. Then once you get a new phone we can replace the place holder with your new phone.
We suggest keeping an old phone as backup so you can switch to the backup phone quickly while you find a suitable replacement phone. If you keep your current phone’s ESN number along with the old backup phone you will be ready to swap out and at least be able to keep in touch while you find a replacement phone. The good news is that you can usually buy a great phone for Page Plus at much less than the major carriers would charge you to replace your current phone. You can buy a phone from eBay, Craigslist, Page Plus or of course from Grin Wireless. Let us know if we can help.
