A Monthly Plan lasts one calendar month. The monthly plans are The 12, Talk n Text 1200, Unlimited 39, 55 & 69.95.. When you are at approximately 5 days from the expiration date it is good to renew your plan which will enable you to ensure seamless coverage. The new renewal gets “stacked” onto the current month and takes effect as the first plan expires. When the new plan takes effect you start over with full plan allowances on everything. Any cash balance you have to cover overages or roaming will remain on the account with no “leakage” as long as you keep the account active until you use it. If you purchase from Grin Wireless then we will apply the new plan for you on your account. If you put your monthly plan on AutoPay Grin Wireless will take care of the whole renewal process for you and you will just get a monthly bill on your credit card.
Example: George is on the is on the TnT 1200 and he knows his monthly plan expires on the eighth of the month. That means he will get service until midnight of the eighth. If he doesn’t do anything to renew he will not have service on the ninth. George purchases a TnT 1200 renewal and it is stacked for automatic renewal on the ninth.
STANDARD (PAY ASA YOU GO) PLANS
The Standard Plan renews differently. The Standard plan is sold in PIN’s with $10, $25, $50 and $80 values. The cost per minute goes down as you increase the price of the PIN. The Standard Plan lasts 120 days (unless you use up your cash balance before then). If you renew your Standard Plan before the end of the 120 days, you will terminate your current 120 days and the renewed 120 days will begin. In effect, you lose some of your days, however, you retain your money. All cash balance remaining on the account will “roll over” on the account when you buy a new Standard PIN. The Standard Plan is not “stacked” so you will not have a consecutive 240 days, you just “reset” the 120 days to start at the time you renew. Note: the $80 PIN last for 365 days but works the same as the other PIN’s. If you need to use texts or data it will come out of your cash balance as an overage fee. You need to decide when you want to buy additional time for your account and purchase that online. The Standard plan has a 50 cent per month maintenance fee that will automatically be deducted from your cash balance on the 25th of each month.
Example: Janet is on the $50 Standard PIN. It lasts for 120 days. Janet is running low but knows she will be able to last until the end of the 120 days. However, she thinks she may need to use the phone a lot in the next few days so she buys another $50 PIN. This adds $50 cash to the cash she still has on the account. It also restarts her 120 days from when she bought her new $50 PIN so now Janetcan talk without worry that she may run out of minutes or time.
